Chad E. Stivers of Bedford passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the age of 41.
Born in Bloomington on January 8, 1977 he was the son of Claude E. and Sandra M. (Lake) Stivers. He was married to Alisha (Shields) Stivers on June 19, 1999 and together they started a loving family. Chad worked for E and B Paving and was a proud member of the LIUNA Local 741 and Teamsters Union 135. Chad was a Harley Davidson enthusiast riding his Harley Davidson Dyna-Lowrider in his free time. He was well known as a bargain shopper finding deals at Walmart, Rural King and yard sales where he could outshop anyone. Most of all he loved his family and friends, keeping them close to his heart and enjoying their company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Pam Krebbs.
Chad will be missed by his loving wife, Alisha Stivers; beloved children, Caleb L. Stivers (Brianna C. Dorsett) and Kaitlynn J. Stivers all of Bedford; sister, Debbie Stivers (Tim) of Linton; nephews, Kelly Porter, Charley Porter, and Tim Stivers, Jr.; niece, Melissa Hodge; several great-nieces and great-nephews; brothers-in-law, Mikey Moore and Daniel Moore and a host of close friends who will miss him greatly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville at 2:00 p.m. with Justin Rains officiating. Burial is to follow at Springville West Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
