Curtis "Mike" Michael Richardson

September 30, 1942 ~ May 14, 2019 (age 76)

Curtis “Mike” Michael Richardson of Ellettsville passed away at IU Health-Bloomington Hospice House on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the age of 76.

Born on September 30, 1942 in Bedford he was the son of the late Ralph E. and Alice K. (Jones) Richardson.  Mike retired from Duke Energy where he worked as a lineman, serviceman and finally a supervisor.  He was a faithful member of the Ellettsville First Baptist Church attending services each Sunday.  Mike was an avid reader and collected many different items including anything patriotic with the flag or symbols of freedom.  He loved his family and they will miss him dearly.

Mike is survived by his children; Teresa (Greg) Keller, Tina Griffith, and Joe (Emily) Richardson; former wife, Joy Richardson; grandchildren, Nicole Keller, Shane (Haley) Keller, and Christian Griffith; great-grandchild, Kynlee Keller; brother Edward (Nonnice) Richardson and sister, Brenda Bingaman.

Visitation will be at the Ellettsville First Baptist Church on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 4-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be at the church on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Mark Villanova officiating.  Cremation is to follow with interment at Old Dutch Church Cemetery.  Mike’s family invites you to share condolences, memories and more with them on his tribute page at www.chandlerfh.com
