Earl G. Parker, 81, of Bloomington passed away peacefully at his home after a long battle with illness on Sunday, March 10, 2019.
Born on July 1, 1937 in Greene County, he was the son of Ira and Lily (Krebbs) Parker. Earl owned Parker Trenching and Jiffy Janitorial Services enjoying his working years until retirement. He was a member of the General Assembly Church of the First Born. Earl enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deloris “Tudy” Parker in 2012; brother George Parker; sisters, Wilma Wood, Virginia Day and Betty Parker; and grandchild, Kierston Parker.
Earl is survived by his children, Sherry Richcreek (Jim), Connie Sedam, Retta Richardson, Vicki Richardson all of Bloomington, Jeff Parker (Kathy), Tammy Randolph (Edward) all of Ellettsville, Brad Parker of Bloomington, and Joe Parker (Debbie) of Gosport; sister, Edna Bowman (Don) of Gosport; thirty-four grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville with Brothers Stan White and Mike Day officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to the services on Friday.
