Frank Bray, 67, of Spencer passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Frank is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy (Hendrickson) Bray and their three children, Shannon (Chris) Fouch, Jason (Kim) Bray, and Amy (David) Meier; nine grandchildren, Kelsey (Harold) Cooper, Samantha (Sergio) Rodriguez, Jacob Lloyd, Bre Anderson, Caylan Bray, Paige Hamilton, Emily Bray, Kearston Roan and Ian Frank; five great-grandchildren, Drew Cooper, Emry Rodriguez, Sydney Stone, Shelby Bryant and Emma Stone; and sisters, Bev Plummer, Mary Hollinshead and Julie Mettler.
He was welcomed “home” by his parents, Hubert Earl and Hollis “Lucille” (Kent) Bray; two infant children; grandchild, Ruth Marie Meier; an infant grandchild; and three brothers.
Frank grew up in Martinsville and retired from Rogers Group a few years ago. He also worked many years as a tree trimmer prior to that. He enjoyed many excellent years fishing, hunting deer, turkey and mushrooms. He was also very passionate about IU Basketball. He was a big-hearted man who adored his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he was a really funny guy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to services on Thursday. Burial will be private at Gross Cemetery.
