John Wall, Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away at IU Health Bloomington Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the age of 69.
Born in Bloomington, Indiana on January 18, 1950 he was the son of Thomas and Hazel (Meadows) Wall. He married Carolyn (Hulen) Wall and they recently celebrated thirty-two years of marriage together. John honorably served in the United States Navy. He worked as a School Bus Driver for MCCSC and was also a Reserve Sheriff's Deputy for 10 years with the Monroe County Sheriff's office. John was a member of the Bloomington Moose Lodge #1081 and the Turning Point Apostolic Church in Ellettsville. John enjoyed being outdoors and hunting and fishing were some of his favorite activities. He was a talented musician performing in three bands, Chance, Second Chance, and Caliber. His family and his grandchildren were his life. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
John is survived by his Wife, Carolyn Wall; Daughter, Nicole Hulen; Grandchildren, Colin and Alexandrea; Father-in-Law, Vern Hulen; Mother-in-Law, Laura Hulen and Sister-in-Law, Pamela Wall.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Turning Point Apostolic Church, 210 W. Vine Street in Ellettsville on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Ron Hawkins officiating. The Monroe County Honor Guard will provide military honors. Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville is assisting with cremation arrangements.
