Lisa Marcelle Wilson, age 55, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday September 2, 2019 at IU Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana surrounded by family. She was born on December 5, 1963 in Bloomington, Indiana to Glen and Janice Wilson.
Lisa was survived by her Grand Dog, Girl; daughter, Heather Pate (Josh Miller) and her son, Steven Pate (Mallory Pate); Step Daughter, Jeania Baughman; Mom, Janice Wilson; Sister, Julie Hamm; 3 Brothers, Randy Keller (Lesley Keller), John Wilson, and Robert Wilson (Lynn Wilson); Life long Friend, Chery Dunham (Son, Bobby Bridges); Grand Daughters, Madison Miller and Taylar Baughman.
Lisa was a wonderful mother and had a big heart, she had many “adopted” children. She had many friends. She was very artistic, she loved to paint and draw. Being a huge animal lover, she brought home just about any animal she could get ahold of as a child, including a baby skunk. She loved the outdoors. She was a lover of Minions.
She was a former bartender, having worked many years at the VFW. She worked many years in embroidery, most currently employed at 1818 Apparel.
She was preceded in the death by her Father, Glen Wilson; Step-Daughter, Jessica Pate; step-Son, John Pate; Granddad, Booker Wilson; Grandmother, Elsie Wilson; Grandpa, Forrest Burnett and Grandma, Nola Burnett.
A celebration of life will be held for Lisa at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
