Trenton “Trent” Ray Mullis, age 25, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 in Stinesville.
Trent was born on February 13, 1994 in Bloomington to Jimmy Mullis and Patti (Webb) Terrell. He was a 2012 graduate of Owen Valley High School. He was a member of the IUOE Local 841 and the Laborer’s Local 741, operating heavy equipment. Trent was a member of the FFA during school and a ten-year member of the 4H where he would show cattle and sheep. He also loved horses, contesting them for many years. Trent enjoyed working on and showing four-wheel drive trucks and was a member of the Monroe County Four Wheel Drive Club.
Trent is survived by his parents, Patti Terrell (Duane) of Spencer and Jimmy Mullis (Jennifer) of Bloomington; his son, Welston Ray Howard Mullis; Welston’s mother, Brooke Thomas of Bloomington; siblings, Kara Wells, Makayla Terrell, Amanda Scott, Stefany Terrell, Hunter Oden, and Samantha Eberle; grandparents, Wilma Webb, Janet Mullis and James W. Mullis; nieces, Gracie Rae Wells, Madison Grace Scott and Abagail Harper Scott; several aunts, uncles, and cousins and many close friends who all will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his papaw, Loren “Buck” Webb.
Visitation will be at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the trust fund for Welston Mullis in care of the funeral home.
Trent loved diesel trucks, 4x4 trucks, antique cars, jeeps, tractors, and any neat cars and trucks. On Saturday, June 8th at 3:30 p.m. family and friends will meet at the Urban Air parking lot behind Arby's in Ellettsville and then go to Unionville Church for a short memorial service. Then leave to travel back through Ellettsville on Hwy 46 to Stinesville Road and end at Owen Valley High School. Please NO motorcycles.
