Keith E. Weathers of Ellettsville passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 on his family farm. He was 60 years old.
He was born to the late Coziene L. and Susie M. (Baker) Weathers in Monroe County on August 15, 1957. Keith graduated from Edgewood High School with the class of 1976. After school he continued to work on his family dairy farm supplying milk to various dairies across the state. Keith also drove a school bus for the RBBCSC for 11 years and he really enjoyed traveling with the sports teams to their sporting events and school trips. When he wasn’t working on the farm and driving his bus, he could be found visiting and talking about the daily events throughout the community, especially at the Heritage Trail Coffee Shop in between bus runs. Keith worshipped at the Ellettsville Church of Christ. Keith’s knowledge of farming allowed him to help his nieces, who were 4H members, at the Monroe County Fair and he was a well-known fixture at the fair. He loved his siblings, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will miss his presence deeply.
He was preceded in death by not only his parents, but sister, Evelyne Kaye Weathers.
Keith will be remembered by his siblings, Kathy Weathers, Kristine Weathers, Kent Weathers, Kyle Weathers, Katrina Weathers, Kirk Weathers, and Karla Angelopulos (Chris); nieces and nephews, Laura Farmer (Bryan), Matthew Dotterer, Stephen Weathers, Rebecca Weathers, Brittany Moser (Nick), Orion Angelopulos, Bailee Angelopulos, Kaelan Angelopulos, and Enakai Angelopulos; and great-nieces and nephews, Logan Farmer, Elijah Farmer, Ava Moser, and Everett Moser.
Visitation for Keith will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Methodist Cemetery.
