Marjorie Andrew, 88 of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away at IU Health Center in Bloomington to join her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 13, 2019 following a brief illness.
Born on April 2, 1930 in Evansville, Indiana, Marjorie was active in her church and sang with her sisters in the Butler Trio on radio and in church revival services throughout Indiana. While doing so, she met her beloved husband, Ross Andrew of 67 years while attending revival services in French Lick, Indiana. Marjorie was very active in her church and served as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader and camp counselor. Later in her years, Marjorie attended Lifeway Baptist Church in Ellettsville.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ross Andrew.
She is survived by her son Tony Andrew of Poland, IN., daughters Anna (Gary) Peterman of Atlanta, GA., Shari (Brett) Cooter of Spencer, IN, and grandson, Justin Cooter of Spencer, IN.
Visitation will be held at Lifeway Baptist Church, 7821 W. State Road 46, Ellettsville between the hours of 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. with services at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 17, 2019 officiated by Pastor Steve Von Bokern immediately following the visitation. Afterward, interment will be held at Sulfur Creek Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana. Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville is assisting with arrangements.
